The classic question: How did you get interested in music and how did it lead to where you are now?
Everyone in my family is really into music. I remember looking at my dad's record sleeves and tapes in my uncle's collection from a really early age. I had an older cousin who really influenced my musical taste as well. She hung out with musicians who were in bands and I had always wanted to do it but at the time, there weren't many females in music so I never really gave it a go until I moved to England. I've been in over 8 different line-ups/bands and this is my first solo project.

How do you develop your music - do you have some kind of a pattern or a strategy when it comes to making music?
I just come up with hooks, usually just before I'm about to go to sleep or when I'm having a shower, (always when it's inconvenient to get to my phone!)  and then I record them into it and that's usually how it starts. Either that or I find a synth sound I like and just write some chord changes and then I add some vocals.

What was the first music album you bought?
This is pretty funny. It was an 80's hair metal rock band called Poison and the album was called Look What the Cat Dragged In. (Google the picture to see what it is.) There were four guys on the cover wearing make-up and I thought they were pretty girls so I bought it. When I got home, I realized that they were actually guys. I was 8 so I didn't know any better.

Can you name three of your favourite albums of 2011?
John Maus - We Must Become The Pitiless Censors Of Ourselves, The Horrors - Skying and I really like The KVB - Always Then which was released in 2012 but I've been listening to them every day so I'll say them.

What's your alltime favourite band or artist and why?
I don't really have one. Even my top 10 changes all the time because when I find a record I like, I play it over and over until I don't want to hear it anymore. It's hard to keep favorites with such a bad habit.

What's your most desired country regarding touring?
I'd love to go to Japan but more for the fact that I could never afford it without someone else paying for me.
